This is the new Nike Metcon 7.
That shoe pictured above is the Metcon 7 Mat Fraser PE (Personal Edition) – but more colorways are coming.
Nike Metcon is known to deliver superior stability and durability for functional movement. The seventh and the newest iteration in the lineup highlights Nike React foam for enhanced cushioning and bounce with a frame akin to its ancestors. The Metcon 7 focuses on teamwork with a brand new color palette and elements that are spurred by a band of battle-hardened warriors.
Here are some of the styles that will be available soon:
Nike Metcon 7 – Overview
The Metcon 7 has a revamped rubber that wraps up your arch for exceptional grip during rope climbs, while its rubber tread on the outsole provides traction from the training room floor to the sidewalk. A tab was attached to the tongue with a hook and loop closure to lock down the laces during any workout session.
The Nike React foam (which is new to Metcon) makes a cozy, cushioned base that seems lightweight and flexible for cardio and sprints. The lightweight mesh with textured overlays in high-wear areas helps keep your foot relaxed without losing its sturdiness. Its wide flat heel gets even more stable with an inner plate that disperses weight from side to side.
The metallic polishes on the Swoosh design and heel plate challenge you to aim for growth in every workout. To secure your midfoot, the Flywire cables conform with the laces, while the Handstand clip at the heel reduces drag as you do wall exercises. The design of Metcon 7 is the gold standard for weight training – even more solid and more durable than earlier versions.
