The Reebok Nano X2 is a versatile cross-training shoe made for exercises like squats, box jumps, burpees, lifting, running, jumping, and more. It is named the “Official Shoe of You” and is equipped with improved and new features compared to its predecessor.

Reebok Nano X2 – Womens. The Nano X2 is a cross-training and weightlifting shoe and now comes with new colorways for men and women. It is equipped with Floatride Energy Foam for a responsive underfoot feel, an enhanced heel clip for increased stability and a sharper look, and a Flexweave knit upper for improved protection and breathability.

Unlike other cross trainers (Metcon 7 and 8) this shoe has some drop, and cushion (But not too much – it’s still great for CrossFit):

There’s some drop, and some cushion – so there’s some stack height. When deadlifting a PR – you might want to pick something with less stack height. For reps – it ain’t gonna matter – the stack height is making you do more work – a good thing?

That’s an X1 “Grit” in front. It’s tough, but looks generic and cheap. Build quality all over the map too – but the X2 fixes this.

Overall – the Nano X2 is good. We needed a shoe with drop for CrossFit – because sometimes you want that WITHOUT the spongy midsole of a typical running shoe. Want a FLAT / LOW DROP shoe? Look at the Nano X (Still available!) or the Nike Metcon 7 or Nike Metcon 8.
