Rich Froning, Jr., the 4x “Fittest Man on Earth”, joins the Reebok Nano tradition with his personal Froning Edition Nano X1 Men’s Cross-Training Shoe. He worked closely with the Reebok team on the design, as well as in the use of an innovative lacing system to produce a special offering for the fitness community.

Nano X1 Froning Training Shoe – Overview
The new Nano X1 Froning Training shoe pays tribute to the “Into the Storm” mantra that became Froning’s inspiration and motto for his business, Froning Farms. The bison is his farm run straight into a storm when they see it instead of running away from it. In the same way, when storms come to our lives, meeting them head-on will make us better and stronger people. To bring this mantra to life, the Nano X1 Froning highlights a storm-inspired graphic design on the upper paired with an elastic strap to hold down the laces, expressing the need to lock down and brace for a storm.
The shoe is made with bungee lacing and Floatride foam cushioning for comfort, plus a unique outsole grip and improved ROPEPRO tech for durability and stability. The X1 Froning has a flexible stretch and targeted support for distance runs, sprints, jumps, climbs, etc. A sock-like structure and a forefoot strap provide you a locked-in fit. The unique three-tier lacing system of the shoe esteems Froning’s three pillars – Faith, Family, and Fitness.
Froning wanted a shoe that he can smoothly slip on and off and with that, the all-new upper highlights a stretch bootie construction for exceptional comfort. “Galatians 6:14” and “Boston Designed” are included throughout the design of the shoe. A minimum-drop rubber outsole, supportive EVA rim, and anatomical toe box guarantee a firm footing and a solid foundation for lifts. Whether you do HIIT, boxing, boot camp, or other kinds of fitness training, this shoe is made to handle anything and support your needs in the gym.
