Rucker with Camo Interior – Overview
GORUCK replaced the interior zippers with velcro and removed the front exterior zipper pocket, making your rucksack more durable and long-lasting. It has upgraded padding on the top of the plate pocket for bear crawls and has lumbar padding that supports the natural curve of your back and allows you to wear it shirtless without friction burn.
This rucksack is highly water-resistant, with an interior D-ring and hydration tube exit port under the top handle of the ruck. If you want to add a padded hip belt, this rucksack has three rows of external MOLLE webbing on the front and side for customization. Aside from the 2″x3″ hook and loop on the front panel, the Rucker also has an additional 2″x3″ hook and loop patch panel on the Ruck Plate® pocket.
The shoulder straps have an additional pad to carry heavier loads more comfortably, and all the handles (top, bottom, and both sides) are padded. It uses the YKK zippers with silent, glove-friendly zipper pulls created from parachute 550 cord. The frame sheet supports the pack’s integrity as you weigh it down and allows you to carry a heavier load more comfortably.

Interior zippers are weak points as they can be crushed when you throw your Rucker around during rucking and training. With this, GORUCK removed all the interior pockets and now uses velcro closure with massive pull tabs. The Rucker 4 also has enhanced internal padding, a streamlined front panel, and is hip belt compatible.
