Let’s take a look at the brand-new Cambered Swiss Bar from Rep Fitness.
With the Cambered Swiss Bar, your hands rest lower than they typically would on a straight bar making it perfect for people with injured shoulders or low flexibility. To create the best multi-grip bar, Rep Fitness examined existing products to determine strengths and weaknesses and leveraged their engineering team’s proficiency and a skilled consumer review group to complete the ultimate feel.

Cambered Swiss Bar – Overview
The Rep Fitness Cambered Swiss bar is an excellent addition to any gym or garage. It is a versatile device providing a tremendous range of motion, and utilizing the different grips will let you target distinct muscle groups. Taking the classic cambered design, the Cambered Swiss Bar is made even better with its round tubing. Most competitors use square tubing as it is easier to weld. Rep Fitness used round tubing instead because it is a better-quality bar and makes for more comfortable loading on your chest. The round tubing avoids any distress when the bar is loaded on your body.
The Camber allows a range of motion or potentially deeper stretch. When using the widest grip for a bench press, the hands go lower further than usual. The weight is not in line with the handle for the other hand positions, which produces a pendulum effect, so you have to work harder to stabilize. This incorporates the benefit of a flat-swiss (straight handled) and a football bar (angled handled). The removable eyebolt can be used as a cable attachment and adds versatility to your training.
This barbell fits standard clips, so you don’t need to buy new ones. The knurled handles give you a better hold during workouts with the proper grip that is not too aggressive. The chrome sleeves use superior material and are also more durable, and were developed to fit standard clips. This bar is rackable on most setups because of the additional space between the outermost handle and the collar. The three grips have been consciously set to help reduce any shoulder pain and furnish placement for more targeted muscle training. The benefit of having grip variation is it gives your body a break from the typical positions.
