Nike Free Metcon 4 – Overview
The Nike Free Metcon 4 integrates flexibility with stability, so you can give it your all to your training. It is great for HIIT workouts, short runs, light lifting, jumping, and classes. The shoe has an updated “chain-link” mesh that cools and flexes as you speed through agility drills. It provides ventilation to keep you cool and is very helpful if you sweat a lot. It also has support at the midfoot and heel to brace you for your heaviest sets in the weight room. This support is not restricting and smoothly distributes the pressure for proper support.
The Free Metcon 4 brings back the very tough yet breathable mesh from the original version. The upper is decorated with a Huarache-inspired strap and rubber-striped sidewall surrounding your heel to support your movement in all directions. Nike Free technology in the forefoot creates flexibility for agility moves and sprints, while the stretch around the collar allows your foot to move naturally as you burst, cut, and brake. The rubber tread in high-wear areas gives you durable traction on all surfaces.
The Nike Free Metcon 4 has a wide heel that makes a reliable and stable base for lifting. The softer core brings a light feeling to your foot, while its firmer outer layer delivers durability and stability. Though it looks heavy, the Free Metcon 4 is unbelievably light and agile. With a higher heel-to-toe drop than the original Metcon, coupled with a mouldable outer sole, this shoe is your go-to for running, lifting, and athletic-focused workouts.
