The Rogue FT-1 Functional Trainer (made in the USA!):
Rogue FT-1 Functional Trainer
Inspired by US Navy Veteran and garage gym builder Nick Gills, FT-1’s configuration is set apart by its modularity, and the incorporation of Monster uprights and crossmembers makes the unit compatible with a wide assortment of attachments and accessories. The FT-1 has the same width and storage capacity as a Monster four-tier storage rack while simultaneously providing two fully functional cable pulley stations. This trainer has two precision-built CT-1 Cable Towers, allowing many cable machine exercises like rows, curls, tricep pushdowns, cable crossovers, and more. Each 3×3” 11-gauge steel CT-1 unit is made at Rogue’s Reflex Fitness facility in Iowa.
The 6” aluminum pulleys and 250 LB weight stack are machined in-house. At the same time, the 1/4” cable is created to the same military specs as aircraft cable, jacketed in nylon for exceptional flexibility and durability. The FT-1 comes standard with 43” Monster Crossmembers for linking the two towers. The top cross member includes an MG Black/Rogue Red Monster nameplate with laser-cut branding. There are 16 different height adjustment settings on the 2×2 rail, and the acetal pads inside the handle assembly allow you to quickly move the swivel up and down without damaging the stainless slide tube.
Rogue CT-1 Cable Tower
The CT-1 Cable Tower is welded, painted, and completed at Rogue’s Reflex Factory in Milan, Illinois, and utilizes a 3×3” 11-gauge steel and parts cut at Rogue HQ in Columbus, Ohio. CT-1 stands 9 feet tall and creates a 60″ x 54″ footprint, offering an effortlessly adjustable stand-alone column for a wide range of cable machine exercises, including rows, curls, tricep pushdowns, cable crossovers, and more. It includes 6” machined aluminum pulleys, a USA MIL Spec cable, an adjustable diamond tread footplate, and a custom black carabiner. You can adjust the weight load through the 250 LB weight stack, split into 10 LB increments with a 2:1 ratio.
Using the knurled stainless steel adjustment handle, the single-handle pulley assembly highlights a 180-degree swivel and can be easily set up high or low, depending on the workout. It has 16 different height adjustment settings on the 2×2 rail, and with acetal pads inside the handle assembly, you can easily move the swivel up and down without damaging the stainless slide tube. Protective weight stack shrouds are also equipped to help avoid pinch points.
