Nike Free Metcon 4 – Overview
Nike merged Free and Metcon to come up with the Nike Free Metcon 4. Nike Free is formed to the foot’s shape, making it like a second skin and feels like a natural extension of your body. Metcon, on the other hand, is known for its durability and stability with ground-gripping traction. Bringing these two together in one shoe makes your training unstoppable and fun.
The Nike Free Metcon 4 has a wide heel that creates a solid and stable base for lifting. The softer core brings a light feeling to your foot, while its firmer outer layer delivers durability and stability. Sudden stops and quick cuts won’t bother you with its wide internal webbing that gives pressure around your midfoot for a convenient yet locked-in feel. The Nike Free technology in the forefoot forms flexibility for swift moves and sprints.
It has the rugged yet breathable mesh from the original version and the rubber tread in high-wear areas to grant you strong traction. The Huarache design from 1991 resurrected on the strap and rubber-striped sidewall of the Nike Free Metcon 4. This wraps your heel to brace you for action in any direction. Even the rubberized logo at the tongue of this shoe got its inspiration from the Huarache.
