HWPO or Hard Work Pays Off is 5x CrossFit Games Champion, Mat Fraser’s personal mantra. It exemplifies tenacity, grit, unwavering focus, and greatness. This is also Mat’s inspiration for starting his online coaching business, HWPO Training. Before getting into CrossFit, Mat had a whole career in Olympic Weightlifting.
He was the 2009 Junior National Weightlifting Champion and a Resident Athlete at the Olympic Training Center. He earned five consecutive CrossFit Games Titles in his competitive career as the Fittest Man on Earth (2016 – 2020) and concluded on the podium seven straight times (2014-2020).
