When will the Nike Metcon 8 be released? – It appears the shoe will be available by September 1st.

What we do know is that it is a mild-refresh of the Nike Metcon 7. There are many obvious similarities here in the new shoe… just take a look.

I’m going to predict this shoe is going to be nearly identical to the Nike Metcon 7 – so while we wait to get this one, check out our Nike Metcon 7 Review.

Nike Metcon 7 AMP Shoe Review 24
This is the M7 – the M8 will be very similar. The heel is good – no heel slip – and it doesn’t come up to high – nor does it cut into the back of your ankle (unlike the Reebok Nano X2). There’s a TPU edge to the heel – it’s supposed to cut down on drag when doing HSPU – Hand Stand Push Ups.
