Battle Rope Roundup – Overview
From a mainstay tool in MMA and CrossFit, battle ropes are now used by strength coaches and trainers in nearly all sports to train athletes for power and explosiveness. Because of their considerable weight, battle ropes provide resistance which helps grow muscles. They are versatile and help build core and enhance core-to-extremity strength, creating greater power.
Aside from building muscles, battle ropes are effective in burning calories. They are great for HIIT and develop muscles and burn calories simultaneously, making them the best way to be slimmer yet more muscular. Battle rope training is a great cardio and resistance training and helps improve endurance and cardiovascular health. It also helps increase mobility, balance, coordination, and stability.
Made in the USA, the Conditioning Rope weighs 26LB measuring 50′ in length and 1.5″ in diameter. It comes in brown and has a weight capacity of 500LB.
To add fun while using this rope, use two 6′ ropes by having two athletes grab the ends of both ropes and see who can rip the ropes out of the other athlete’s hands using the same sine wave motion.
Hyper Rope Battle Rope
The patent-pending Hyper Rope Battle Rope duplicates many of the same advantages of traditional battle rope training even without an anchor and with less than 1/4 of the required gym space. Each 25 ft. long rope weighs 19 LBS and highlights a weighted flexible metal core, ultra-durable braided polyester exterior, and easy-grip ribbed handles.
This rope is conveniently portable, space-efficient, and dynamic, offering various potential movements beyond battle rope wave exercises alone. The premium North American structure makes the rope quieter and easier on floors without the shedding fibers from cheaper Poly Dacron styles.
Rogue 45′ Sheathed Conditioning Rope
This rope is made from durable polypropylene with an all-weather cover. The rope measures 45 ft in length and 1.5″ in diameter.
The protective cover is folded over at the end to create a grip-friendly looped handle and measures about 3” wide and 10” long from the end of the rope to the end of the loop (when laying flat).
50FT Battle Rope
The 50FT Battle Ropes come in 1.5 or 2-inch diameters, so you can select your level of intensity. You’ll get extreme metcon with the Battle Rope by wrapping the middle around a pole (or squat rack or rig). Grab the free ends and start shopping your arms up and down.
It is made of synthetic fiber for a longer-lasting, more durable battle rope. The 1.5″ battle rope weighs 28 pounds and is an excellent rope for all levels of fitness. The 2″ battle ropes weigh 53 pounds and are a better option for heavier and stronger trainees with good endurance.
Bomba Manila Battle Rope
Proudly made in the USA, the Bomba Manila Battle Rope has rubber grips on site to ensure a proper, long-lasting fit compared to other ropes on the market. It has a 16,000 lb breaking strength, so you can use it for sled pulls of any weight.
They are Grade A 1 1/2″ and 2″ Manila, which means that even though they will shed like all Manila, they will still last for years. If the grips get sweaty, you can hold the rope directly for a reliable grip every time.
Sleeve Battle Rope
The Sleeve Battle Rope is made from 100% pure poly dacron material making it highly durable. A full nylon sleeve covers this rope to decrease wear, while the grippy handles help stop the rope from slipping out of your hands. It comes in three different color options red, black, and blue, so you can customize your battle rope to fit your needs and training style.
The Sleeve Battle Rope comes in two different lengths (30’ and 50’) and two different diameters (1.5” and 2”). The wider diameter provides more of a grip challenge, and the length also adds difficulty, while the long rope is heavier (30-46lbs, depending on diameter) and harder to start.
The Battle Rope is ideal for smaller spaces and provides superior metabolic and strength workouts for users of all sizes and conditioning levels.
It has exceptional nylon covering that protects against damage and dampens noise from banging on hard surfaces. This rope measures 30ft in length, weighing 17lb, with a 90-day warranty.
TRX Battle Rope
The TRX Battle Rope has a heavy-duty, tightly braided construction that won’t fray or break. It also has comfortable rubber grips to keep you holding on no matter how sweaty you get.
This rope helps you get a full-body, cardio-pumping, and endurance-challenging workout through slams, throws, waves, jacks, and pulls. It must be anchored to a sturdy, round surface like a pole or a tree.
