Sand Medicine Ball – Overview
The 1000 Denier Cordura is a tried and tested material chosen for all Special Forces Rucks because it is resistant to the severities of everything, including war. GORUCK Sand Medicine Balls use this material and are also made with a floating internal chamber that allows extra stretch internally and keeps any sand from getting out.
This medicine ball features a multi-layer velcro closure system with a velcro and paracord lace lock-in system. The same triple-locking velcro closure from the Filler Bags is applied to the closing on the med ball throat. Another layer of velcro was added with paracord laces to tie it up tightly. This Medicine Ball is the most rigid medicine ball ever built and is even backed by the Scars Lifetime Guarantee.
The Sand Medicine Ball has a built-in throat funnel that expands to add sand straight into Med Ball with easiness. The opening is completed with a Closure Flap that velcros on top to make the ball smooth with no friction points. The weight is indicated max and is embroidered on the exterior to see it quickly. It is measured using dry Florida sand.
