GORUCK GR0 Compact Rucksack – Overview
GR1 is the toughest rucksack ever built. Now make it smaller, and you get the GORUCK GR0. It was previously known as the Echo and is made for smaller frames and minimalist EDC. GORUCK GR is compact, robust, efficient, and confidently protects a laptop. It has three internal pockets—one large elastic pocket, one large mesh zippered pocket, and one small go-to pocket. Known to GORUCK rucks is their ability to open flat for easier packing and organizing. This is expected of GRO, as well as the multiple pockets it holds.
It also has one external slant pocket for quick access to keys, snacks, and other small items. Going from work to rucking is possible, especially if you have a laptop with a Bombproof Laptop Compartment next to your back. It is extra-reinforced and has a false bottom so that when you set your ruck down, your laptop won’t even notice.
This rucksack is also highly water resistant, with two rows of external and internal MOLLE webbing for customization. It utilizes the YKK zippers with silent, glove-friendly zipper pulls made from parachute 550 cord. It is TSA Compliant and can fit well under the seat in front of you while leaving enough room for your feet.
